María José Pons (born in Sabadell, 8 August 1984) is a Spanish football goalkeeper currently playing for RCD Espanyol in Primera División. She previously played for CE Sabadell, FC Barcelona and Levante UD, with which she won one League and one Cup.[1] She was a key player at the league success, conceding nine goals in 25 matches.[2] She had previously won the 2003 Cup with CE Sabadell. With Espanyol she has won one more title.
She is a member of the Spanish national team,[3] where she is a reserve goalkeeper as of the 2013 European Championship qualifying.[4]
